Couldn't have enjoyed a stay more! The building has been restored exquisitely! I had a single room which had everything I could possibly need, including an iron and ironing board! (Thank you!) Having the pub and restaurant downstairs was a bonus which meant I didn't have far to go for for a meal The meals were enormous and fabulous! Loved the outdoor area, especially the smokers' corner :) which I used early in the morning and at night. Thank you for thinking of the dying breed. If I ever come back to Bathurst, I will definintely stay here again. Plus I have to thank the wonderful staff for their politeness and and in being extremely helpfull.

A historic pub with an updated vibe. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds. We drove from Sydney and arrived around dinner time. It was such a treat to be able to have a wine and dinner and retreat upstairs after a long drive. Food was great and beer/wine selection included local options. Special mention for Brad from the restaurant. He was friendly and helpful, even though they were super busy. It’s the little things!

Went to the Andy Irvine concert at the "Little Albert" room last night. Street parking is easy. Despite the concert being booked out a couple of days before, only one young person was manning the bar taking food orders and dispensing beers and mixes. So it took a while to reach the front of the queue to get served. The menu is varied and our orders were freshly prepared and arrived at our table hot about one third the way through the concert. Better than average pub food but not cheap. There is a big range of beers and at least one cider on tap. Prices are OK

Had dinner here out in the rear courtyard. Whilst the menu had your typical pub style food (like schnitties) they had some awesome alternative choices. These are definitely worth ordering. Service was great as well.

We enjoyed lunch at The Victoria recently. Great pub style food that doesn't disappoint. Friendly and welcoming staff, prompt service. Our food was ready in no time! Great dog friendly beer garden area with shaded tables. Well worth stopping by.

We booked a Queen room with shared bathroom - our room was filled with light, beautiful view, incredibly clean and spacious. Had a small fridge, tea, coffee, kettle, jug of filtered water in the fridge. The bathroom was up there with better hotels with ensuites we've stayed in - obviously recently renovated - with lovely patterned tiled floors, pristine white tiled walls and a powerful, hot shower (large overhead shower rose). Always clean, always smelling fresh. Ate here a couple of times as well - a lunch one day, dinner the next - and both excellent! A range of local wines and beers really added to the experience. The service here is 5-star. We felt so at home and always cared for, safe and very happy.

Great hotel in Bathurst with friendly and welcoming service. The rooms and shared bathrooms were clean, only the washbasins were a bit small. The food was about average for a pub. I had the chicken schnitzel which was a bit dry but the salad and mushroom sauce was excellent.

Following the UK trend (diminishing drinking culture) and with alcohol prices forever increasing, pubs are moving to good food fare. The historic Victoria Bathurst excels with very well priced food and a great atmosphere. Nice, comfy hotel rooms if you're staying recently refurbished (also very well priced for what's on offer AND given a long weekend). Friendly staff and a stone throw from town and the Bathurst train station, coach terminal. What is not to like ?! 12/10 I'll be back to the Vic
